Editing Rules
  1. If you add a new page to the site (for example your own personal page), please keep the structure of the site the way it is now as much as possible.
  2. Do not edit, delete or move other people's pages.
To edit a page, go to that page and click on the pencil icon in the top right of the screen which you should see.  You can then  edit the page.

The Google Sites editor has a limited set of features and is not great.  The Google Docs editor is better so you might want to create items using Google Docs and then copy and paste them in here.  Hopefully the people working on Google Sites will continue to improve the Google Sites editor.  It can be helpful to "clear formatting" at times.

Drawing programs such as Visio can be used to create drawings and then save them as .gif files which can be inserted into Google Docs documents or into this site.

If you want to use mathematical notation, the best thing to do is to create a document using your favorite editor, save it as a .pdf file and attach it to your page.  The equations editors in Google Sites and Google Docs are very poor.  Please convert postscript .ps files into .pdf or Word files before attaching them to your pages because most people use a PC or Mac and cannot open .ps files without downloading additional software which is an annoyance.

Once you are through editing, you must hit the "Save" button on the top right of the screen to save your changes.

If you have ideas on how to improve this site, please leave suggestions.
